What personal belongings do you hold most dear?

I tell myself that possessions are ephemeral and should not be held too dear.

  1. Get resuscitated three times from a stopped heart and suddenly all earthly possessions are of absolutely no value. Human relationships on the other hand dramatically come to the fore

  2. Goodness Mal, don’t get me started!  Everything somebody gives me tends
to become a “Keepsake”, forever afterwards asociated with the donor in
my mind and very difficult to part with.  You wouldn’t believe how many
things in this house would be familiar to you and Rose, and are both
useful to us, –and dear to me!
