I think I came close today – a family braai (barbecue) at home. Beer, music, meat, family, friends, grandchildren, playing Twister. Some family and friends missing.
Oh yeah, there was some salad too …

What personal belongings do you hold most dear?
I tell myself that possessions are ephemeral and should not be held too dear.
However, I am fond of an old red shirt which has a hole in it and is disliked by my wife. She gave me a white hare which I probably hold too dear … and probably some other white hairs …
Have you ever broken a bone?
Only to get the marrow out.. it’s very tasty! Cracked some ribs once that was very sore for a couple of weeks.
Are you a leader or a follower?
I tend to go my own way. I sometimes lead and sometimes I follow. I’m a slow thinker and don’t react fast, so sometimes I follow then stop. Sometimes I dash out the door to do something … then stop and think about it.
